Jura
The Jura is a system of heavily forested mountains along the border
between France and Switzerland, running from the Rhône to the Rhine.
Geneva, Neuchâtel, Baden, and Basel are situated on the edges of the Jura.
The principal Alpine peaks near Geneva, Mont Tendre and La
Dôle, are part of the Jura chain.
