Hester Chapone
Hester Mulso Chapone, 1727-1801, English writer. Wollstonecraft
refers to her most famous work, Letters on the Improvement of
the Mind (1772). She contributed one essay to Samuel Johnson's series of periodical essays
The Rambler (number 10, 1752).
